As high quality designed watches look amazing and these watches made using excellent quality standards. Therefore any peeling paint misspelt words and scratches on the watch will show that the watch is fake, and if the grip of the watch or clasp of the watch does not close, it means the watch is fake.
Check the quality of the lettering:
You can easily distinguish fake watches from the real one by examining the quality of the letters. Brands craft original and genuine watches. These watchmakers use accurate print instruments to make bright lettering on the watch. If you hardly read any letter or lettering is mix up, then it is evident that the watch is fake. This also includes the serial numbers; if there is any problem which you see with a serial number, it also indicates that the watch is fake.
Listen for ticking:
Through this, you can easily indicate that the watch is fake. Excellent quality and the genuine designer watch made with many small and perfectly shaped moving parts. Excellent quality and the authentic watch will not tick at any condition. If you want to examine this, take and hold the body of the watch against your ear and listen to it carefully. If there is any sound relate to ticking, it means the watch is fake.
Feel the weight of the watch:
A rare designer watch is made with valuable metals and has many small moving parts. Therefore, it will feel slightly more massive than it looks. However, if the watch is not real, it will be amazingly light in weight.
Look for all the proper stamps:
You can find different spots around the original design watch as an indicator of legality and genuineness of the watch. Locations of these stamps can vary from each other models of watches. Do the research ahead of time so that you know what stamps to look for on your particular model. Do confirms that the lettering on the stamps correctly spelt, and it is easy to read it.
Check the face of the watch:
Real and genuine designer watches use valuable minerals such as sapphire to cover the watch face. As fake and cheaper watches use mineral crystals, to examine what type of mineral your watch made with, turn the watch on its side, and check the filtering of colours through the transparent casing.
Your watch would show a violet tint colour if the watch built with sapphire. This can confirm that the watch is genuine, not a fake.
If the watch were manufacture with mineral crystals, it would show a green tint colour. This indicates that the watch is fake, not genuine.
Test the bracelet:
Usually, genuine watches have one or two stamps on the clasp pf the bracelet. If you know about the specifications of your watch model, you will be able to tell if these are missing. Similarly, if the clasp mechanism seems too dull or the link of the bracelets does not move correctly and smoothly, the watch must be fake.
You will notice that the bracelets of designer watches usually feel thick and heavy, move accurately, and give shiny looks.
The folding clasp mechanism inside examines of the stamps:
To investigate, compare the serial numbers. The serial number on the bracelet of the watch and the case should match. Most of the designer watches contain the serial number on a sticker on the backside of the watch.
Look out those watches that sold without a case; they are more likely to be fake.
Surface glass: Currently, surface glass generated at a high level. The general fake watch is similar to the real watch, leaving out some watch brands that marked on the glass, such as the primary OMEGA and Rome. Now ROLEX is also marked at 6 o’clock in the glass, which is a small line of ROLEX English letters. The glass is sapphire, the look is not much different, but the nylon seal is not the same. The original one blue and the fake is without any colour.
For the identification of the watch, the process of the hands is the common telling problem. The hands of the fake watch hardly done well. For example, the needle flag is put up under the needle, the needle is not flat, has not excellent brightness, and the edge of the needle is not clear. Like the ROLEX, the tail of the second hand is circular, while the fake watch is flat, while the second hand of some quartz watches balanced for the balance, the tail is thicker, and so on.
Real watches have unique printing, Contain very bright paint, and the print is very high. Unoriginal and fake watches can not do this. Frequently it is seen that some fake watches are illegible and cannot be covered entirely.
Usually, the general watch has a movement model and case model. The high-end watch must have the production serial number of the watch, the serial number of the movement, and the strap number. However, pay attention to observation the standard type of the fake watch is relatively shallow, some are slanted sidelong, some are the wrong size of the code, or do not meet the coding rules of the watch or the number of digits is too long.
Some important movement parts, on the surface, are easier to see on the brandish plate, such as shock absorbers. There are different marketing names and grades. As the low-end conventional triangle shock absorbers are more common.
